ThermoGuard Universal Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant incorporates a complex additive package including nitrite to protect all six standard metal alloys (brass, copper, steel, solder, cast iron, and aluminum). ENVIRO-GUARD® is an environmentally safe alternative to conventional antifreeze. This universal formula antifreeze provides superior corrosion protection for both aluminum and diesel engines. It also eliminates cavitation erosion, which is a major problem in heavy duty engines. Freeze-up and boil-over protection is equivalent to that of conventional antifreeze.

• WHY IS ETHYLENE GLYCOL BASED ANTIFREEZE SO DANGEROUS?
  Conventional antifreeze is composed of over 90% Ethylene Glycol (EG) which is toxic to humans and animals. Over 50% of all poisoning deaths of cats and dogs are caused by EG based antifreeze. EG is metabolized to oxalic acid, which crystallizes in the kidney causing death.
• WHY IS ENVIRO-GUARD SO MUCH SAFER TO USE?
  Enviro-Guard is composed of over 90% Propylene Glycol (PG), which is considered "generally regarded as safe" by the Food and Drug Administration. PG is used worldwide in food, cosmetics and medicine. It is also being tested as an antidote for EG poisoning.

ENVIROGUARD superior coolant offers very low toxicity in response to PG’s favorable safety profile, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s GRAS (Generally regarded as safe) rating. Formulated from propylene glycol. It contains an inhibitor package designed to assure anti-foaming properties as well as rust & corrosion protection for brass, copper, solder and aluminum. The low concentration of silicates makes this antifreeze suitable for Cummins and similar heavy-duty diesel engines. It is also appropriate for use with industrial plant systems requiring rust or corrosion protection.
